we teach

a place for parents and teachers to learn, share, and grow

I don't have a blog and am trying to find my way around all the blogs! Some one did post a place where everyone could post their links but I can't find it, so I thought I'd post another place in the forum section (where I believe everyone can access). So can you all post your links and quick description of your blog! Or links to your favorite sites.

Thanks!

Erin

Hi! So happy you started this discussion.:) I am a beginning blogger and a beginning teacher too. After hunting around for a blog written by first year teachers I decided to create my own as well as start a community for new teachers:

No Doubt Learning is my blog.  I was a public school teacher for 11 years and recently decided to homeschool my children, so it has our learning activities (crafts, nature, etc) as well as printables that I've made.

What a great discussion thread - I've found some wonderful new blogs to visit - many thanks for starting it!

I'm a new blogger/website - posts cover how to combine fun & learning at home, in the community and when traveling.  We can be found at:

and one of my favorite blogs to read is Pragmatic Mom - great ideas!

Hello Everyone. I wonder if anyone will go through the pages to see this post? haha

Anyways, I am Debs and I'm a Primary School Teacher from Australia (Melbourne). I am currently on family leave with my 2 gorgeous little kiddies and have started a blog sharing activities that I do at home with handy tips on how to promote learning through these activities and other ideas. I strongly believe in the power of learning through play and I think that's clearly demonstrated on my blog, Learn with Play @ home.

Would love if you could follow me there :)

Debs, just had to stop by and let you know lots of people will be reading your post!

I'm Susan, aka The Book Chook. I'm an ex primary teacher from NSW, currently blogging about children's literacy, learning and literature at www.thebookchook.com I promote learning through enjoyment, and love what play can offer kids too.

We Teach is a great community. Dive in to the different groups!http://www.weteachgroup.com/groups/group/list  One great way to find interesting blogs to read/follow is by joining in with we teach - we're bloggers, especially the weekly blogger share. http://www.weteachgroup.com/group/weteachblogswelove?xg_source=acti... I've just moved house so I've been MIA there but I see it's still going strong and thoroughly recommend it.

Nice to meet you Susan. Look forward to checking out your site.  Have actually been a member here for a bit so have contributed to those groups before but need to do it more regularly. Thank you for the help :)

I'm already following you on GFC and facebook :)   We do a record book similar to yours, where we ask the same questions each year.  It's so much fun to see how the kids' answers change from year to year!! :)

Thanks Andrea. I was already Following you on FB but for some reason not on your blog. I am now though. Yes, the answers change so much. All hers have already changed (I asked her again the other day when I did the post) since she did that one in January. I'll treasure these memories more than the date that she started walking or when she first rolled over, etc :D
