Michelle, please give us the exact links to the two blog posts! Carolyn
The magazine story is called "The Tooth Fairy Apprentice." It's link is http://www.gn-st.com/2012/04/tooth-fairy-apprentice-revised.html
The story to be published as an Early Reader is a revised version of "My Frog and the Eyeglasses" for which I had to take the story down. The new title is, for the moment, "Freddy, Hoppie and the Eyeglasses." I'll definitely keep everyone posted on the publication date.
Michelle, I have a link to your tooth fairy apprentice story on the We Teach Literacy pages now. Thanks, and if that story is removed I supposed I'll reluctantly remove the link! Thanks for sharing, Carolyn
I have several posts I'd like to share with you:
One is about bird song and how it is healthy for our brains: http://www.stringskeysandmelodies.com/2012/08/bird-songs-and-nature...
We had a fun week of Explore Music Camp: http://www.stringskeysandmelodies.com/2012/08/another-fun-week-of-m...
I have two new finger plays and extra goodies by Carolyn:
Thanks for reading!
Thanks for collaborating with me, Tonya. I really like the bird song one as I have a CD of bird songs my husband doesn't much like, and now I have reasons to play it. Thanks, Carolyn
Cool! I have been listening to one that is a mountain stream and it has birds in the background. It is really nice to listen to while doing yoga!
Tonya, I added a link to your bird songs post on the We Teach Science resources page. I added some of the others on the music resources page. Thanks so much. It is fun to collaborate with you. Carolyn
I have a super simple math game I was playing with my four year old.
Christy, I added a link to your blog post from the We Teach Math resources page (which has several of your links already). Thanks so much, Carolyn
Nice post, this would work well with money, I think as well.
I have some back-to-school and back-to-homeschool posts:
How to Help Your Child Treasure Books (and Montessori lessons for opening and closing a book)
Montessori-Inspired Greater Than Less Than Alligator Math (my monthly post at PreK + K Sharing)
