we teach

a place for parents and teachers to learn, share, and grow

Hi Everybody!

My name is Jodie from the Growing Book by Book blog.  I’m in the process of organizing a collaborative blogging project/blog hop called Virtual USA Road Trip (50 States, 50 Books, and 50+ Projects).  I’m gathering a child friendly blogger from each state to showcase one book related to their state and an activity to go with the chosen book.  We currently have 27 bloggers signed up to participate!  YEAH!

The project will take place in February 2013.  I would love for more bloggers to be a part of this event.  Would this be something that you would be interested in doing?  If so,please let me know what state you would represent, the name of your blog and a contact emailWe are still looking for representation from the following states:  Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire,  North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming.   I will be sending out further information in the next few weeks to all those participating.

This is my first collaborative project so if anyone has any advice I'd love to get some too!

Best wishes,

Hi Jodie,

What an exciting blog hop you are planning. I currently live in Ohio, but was born and trained up in West Virginia. Therefore, I could represent either state. I imagine you would have an easier time finding others to jump on the Ohio side, but would be happy to do either one.
