Fun! I really like this activity :)

It seems like I haven't updated in a while!

I shared a fun story of our EA's first reaction to my use of whole brain teaching.

I've also found some great resources including an infographic creator, interactive graphics and free maps.

Great posts, Miss L, and I am glad you get to go home soon! Carolyn

Thanks Carolyn! I definitely love school and student teaching but I am not a city person. I can't wait till we are back home (to a town of 300 people)!

haha, nice one! When do you finish your degree? :D

I am following, too, Michelle, and wish you very well!

That lizard craft is just adorable!

Dear Karyn:  Your posts are, as always, excellent.  Your animal categories display is wonderful, the lizard or similar animal craft is great, and don't children love making books?  Thanks so much for sharing.  One comment on your blog was about a chameleon book, and the person was right, your basic lizard could be up-scaled (literally) to be a chameleon!  Very nice posts.  Carolyn

I love the easy folded book!  I left a comment on the post but not sure if it worked.  Anyway, I pinned it too.  Thanks for sharing!

This post is the last of 3 posts on an extension circulatory system activity.  The activity asks students to take what they know about the heart and apply it in a new way.  The kids loved it, were actively engaged, and deepened their understanding of the circulatory system.

This was so CREATIVE and INVENTIVE and included such HIGHER LEVEL THINKING!  How imaginative and memorable.  I hope everyone checks out your post!  I won't do a spoiler here, Carolyn
