I also have a review/giveaway of a cute book, focusing on creative comprehension: Matthew's Monsters.  Giveaway ends Friday...and there aren't too many people who have entered, yet. :(

Okay, I'll rest your eyes now! ;)

Great posts, Becky!  I pinned your 20 songs to my favorite music ideas board.  Thanks for sharing!

I like the simplicity of the airplane sight words!  We'll be trying that in the near future, I'm sure!

Becky, I enjoy your posts so much!  I hope you don't mind I've added some to our new resource sharing area on We Teach.  All these fabulous posts are shared and we were thinking it would be great to have them shared for quick reference later.  For instance, I added your 20 songs post to this page:  http://www.weteachgroup.com/group/weteachblogswelove/page/music-blo....  Then, I added one to the math page and one to the reading page.  You can find the main resources button above, or check this page:  http://www.weteachgroup.com/group/weteachblogswelove/page/resources...

Thanks, Carolyn

You must have known that tomorrow I was introducing the silent "e" to my daughter.  Great timing! I'm looking forward to checking out the rest of your posts. :)

Michelle knows just what parents need, that's for sure!

This week the finger play is 5 Little Monkeys Swinging in a Tree.  I supplied the video and Carolyn provided adorable monkey printables and book reviews.  http://www.stringskeysandmelodies.com/2012/07/finger-play-fun-day-5...

We also continued our Fun with Music series with Angelique Felix.  I gave ideas for some very easy kid-made instruments.  http://www.stringskeysandmelodies.com/2012/07/fun-with-music-kid-ma...

Thanks for reading!

We've previously made a couple of these instruments when my son was younger, but I love the tin can/cutlery idea!  We'll be adding to our band.

Hi, Tonya, I hope it is OK that I added your blog posts to our new music page:

Thanks so much!  Carolyn

Carolyn,

What a great resource page.  Thanks!

We love the 5 Little Monkeys...thanks for the resources!

We're a bit late this week as I found out late Tues I  didn't have to childmind Wed., so my hubby decided it was a good day to go to the Belfast zoo, and we were gone 9 hours!  Amazing how time flies when the weather is finally nice for July!

When the weather isn't so good, we've been staying in and having fun with some indoor camping:

and we've also been 'fishing': http://crystalstinytreasures.com/wordpress/?p=606

We hope to have a little more camping fun before having to take down the tent when little ones come to visit.

I hope you're having a great summer so far,

Crystal
