I've joined with 2 other homeschooling (kindergarten) bloggers to bring you Worm Wednesday posts about the science of worms. The link below will be updated with each week's link. On our final post before Thanksgiving, we will have a printable document with an outline of all the lesson ideas you might want to try!

I think I will learn more then share, but will share what I have. I believe that it is all about sharing. Have any of your schools started Common Core?
Comment by Mrs. Coe on December 29, 2011 at 11:47pm Hello Kinder Friends,
With the New Year approaching it is time to think about heading back into the classroom. I would love to support each other this year as we gear up for a fantastic second half of the year. I know right now we are all thinking about Winter Weather and the 100th Day of School. Let's share ideas and inspiration with that in mind. Take us into your classroom for a closer look and let's really connect with each other!

Comment by Alec Duncan on September 19, 2011 at 6:09am Hi everyone - I thought I should introduce myself. I'm Alec Duncan from Perth Western Australia. I'm a qualified child care worker (B. Soc. Sci. Children Studies) but I no longer work directly in that field. I now do play-based instrumental music programs in child care centres and schools (kindergarten to Year 3 - 4 to 8 year olds) with my small business Child's Play Music.
I use homemade instruments made from recycled materials and PVC. You can check out my page for some photos of the instruments if you are interested.
I don't yet have a web site, but you can find more information about me and my programs at my Facebook Page Child's Play Music .
This looks like a great site and I'm looking forward to joining the conversation. Cheers!
