Hi everyone! What are your favorite kid friendly and/or educational sites to use with your students?

I hope everyone is doing well! When is everyone's last day of school? It's May 31 for me.
Be on the lookout before April ends for a BIG giveaway on my blog! :-). http://mrspedtechtalk.blogspot.com
Have a wonderful week!

All about using QR codes for education: Visit my blog post called "QR Binge!" http://acolwell.blogspot.com/2013/04/qr-code-binge.html

GLOGSTER! If you haven't joined yet and started making your own digital posters, it's time! Kids love using them and making them! I've even had my first graders create them! It's a great way for teachers to collect images, videos, and links all in one attractive page. Check out my post for more info.

Hello! I found a great blog with a good list of apps for creating. I posted a link to the blog post and added some apps that I love using as well! Check it out! Many of them are FREE! My favorite word! ;)

Great app for ipads! Collaborative play games! :)

I have another great site to share for apps! This is a Live Binder, which is awesome in and of itself as a tech tool, but this one is great because it has a lot of great apps for digital story telling. They're free or nearly free!

I found an amazing wiki full of technology tools and educational games!!!!
Check it out...ICT Magic

Here's an easy app for your kids to use and get their hands on ipads/ipods to produce something...
Fotobabble http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fotobabble/id353078443?mt=8
(FREE)
They take a picture, then they record their voices talking about it.
They could take a picture of something you did in science and then record themselves explaining the science investigation.
Or at math stations, the kids could snag a pic of something cool they did or noticed, and then record their thinking to share.
Writer's workshop... take a pic. and talk through their story before writing it...
The ideas are endless!
