Isn't this a cute idea from Growing Kinders? She cut out lines and curves and made them into candy canes and the kids see what letters they can make out of them.

hey! I just joined and look forward to getting some ideas for my 5yr old. I just made a "coconut tree" and magnet letters to my fridge (a la chicka chicka boom boom). So the letters are always in his face! I'm on the hunt for lower-case letters!
