Jacquie Fisher can usually be found reading children’s books or exploring new places in Kansas City with her two adventurous kids. She is a strong believer in lifelong learning and has a knack for finding great deals and outstanding resources. 

Jacquie is the founder of KCEdventures and the blog Edventures with Kids, where she uses her past experiences as an educator and researcher to develop creative ideas for families to have fun while learning together!  She also loves baking, old movies and exploring the outdoors.

Bernadette is an educator with over 14 years experience working with children from ages 3 thru grade 3 in the school setting. She is currently working as a Preschool Teacher.  She has two daughters (ages 7 and 5) who are the inspiration behind her blog, Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas.  Bernadette is a firm believer that learning begins at home and doesn't end with the school day. Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas showcases Bernadette's adventures with her daughters. She emphasizes playful learning and discovery with the hope that she will instill her daughters and her students with a genuine love of learning. Kim Vij is the co-author of The Educators’ Spin On It. As an early childhood teacher and a mom of three, she’s learned many tips and tricks of parenting and teaching along the way in the past 20 years.  She shares her “Educator’s Spin” on parenting issues and how to make learning playful and playtime meaningful. Whether it's cooking, crafting, reading, writing, gardening or learning another language, she's always sharing something fun and educational to do at home with your child or playgroup.  You can also find Kim on Pinterest where's she's sharing hand selected resources so parents & teachers can spend less time searching and more time with their family.

Amy Mascott is the creator of teachmama.com, where she shares tools and resources parents can use to become the best teachers for their children. Recognizing the need for more peer collaboration, Amy built the community ‘we teach’, a forum for parents and teachers to connect, share ideas, and grow as educators—no matter the classroom.

A Reading Specialist, writer, consultant, and mom to a crazy-cool 9, 7, & 6-year-old, Amy’s reflections on literacy, parenting, and social media have been featured on dozens of online and print publications, including Scholastic Parents, PBS Parents, readwritethink.org, Mom’s Homeroom, and more.   She lives in the DC Metro area where she’s either cheering for her kids on the soccer field, biting her nails during swim & dive meets, or buzzing around her kids’ elementary school, doing the Room Parent thing.
