- I'm a homeschooling mother of 5 who many moons ago (i.e. before I was married and had children) considered becoming a Montessori teacher. Now I use the Montessori method at home, as best as I can, with my own children. I also direct a religious education program called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd which is based on Maria Montessori's principles.
