Hey Friends!
I've put together a website with advice for parents helping children with reading separated by age groups. There are recommended books and programs to check out.

I share information about teaching reading. One of the places I like to share is at Squidoo. I can create pages with pictures, products, and video links. I can create quizzes and debates. Head on over and join or chime in on my phonics vs. whole language debate.

fyi, I left this message for ning admins:
Hi, there!
Several of my members want to be able to enable a 'signature' for their comments on discussions so that each member doesn't have to go all the way back to the person's profile in order to connect that person to a blog or facebook account. Is this possible?
Without outsourcing to Like2Link (what happened to that app, anyway--I can't find it on the network level), is there another way we can connect Facebook accounts, Twitter accounts, blogs, and other social media connections to a member? I don't like that Like2Link is a totally different site, or that other people who are not on our forum can have access to our information. Do you have a suggestion for us?
And on another note, I've activated Twitter so that members SHOULD be able to 'tweet' from our forum (www.weteachgroup.com) to Twitter, but it's not working. Why?
Many thanks for your help.

let's see if/ how this might help us!
teachmama--amy said… WOW! You gals have been busy this morning! I head to the library w/ Owen and Cora, and I come back to tons of new things! Awesome!
Happy to do whatever you'd like to make connecting with members easier. I have a busy afternoon with tutoring two students after I pick up Maddy from school, but I will certainly get to working out things over here by the evening's end.
Thanks for your patience--Thursdays are way busy for me.
