Looking for Good Chapter Books to Read Aloud to a Range of Ages

Hey Everyone.Jump in and share a few books you think are good read aloud books. You can share which age children would like the books too.Books that can be read to a range of ages are the books I'm hoping to learn about from this group of teachers and parents. I'm going to share one my kids really liked. I think it would appeal to children first through sixth grade.  Runt by Marion Dane Bauer…See More

Good Books for Beginning Readers

I share information about teaching reading. One of the places I like to share is at Squidoo. I can create pages with pictures, products, and video links. I can create quizzes and debates. Head on over and join or chime in on my phonics vs. whole language debate.

Michelle. Thanks so much for your amazing kindness. I can see I have finally found the 'right' place and I'm soooooooooo excited. It's so sweet of you to have already visited my blog and watched the intro video. I am gradually building a stronger platform, but it sits there all by itself...... my mom reads a long and a few other dear friends, but I have NO idea how to get "it" (the blog, my work) out to the wider world. I am really excited about having found this resource and others who are more techno savvy & also willing to hold my hand. A gazillion thanks. I look forward to the group guidance and all suggestions are happily accepted. Have a great weekend.

Michelle--

fyi, I left this message for ning admins:

Hi, there!

Several of my members want to be able to enable a 'signature' for their comments on discussions so that each member doesn't have to go all the way back to the person's profile in order to connect that person to a blog or facebook account.  Is this possible?

Without outsourcing to Like2Link (what happened to that app, anyway--I can't find it on the network level), is there another way we can connect Facebook accounts, Twitter accounts, blogs, and other social media connections to a member?  I don't like that Like2Link is a totally different site, or that other people who are not on our forum can have access to our information.  Do you have a suggestion for us?

And on another note, I've activated Twitter so that members SHOULD be able to 'tweet' from our forum (www.weteachgroup.com) to Twitter, but it's not working. Why?

Many thanks for your help.

let's see if/ how this might help us!

WOW! You gals have been busy this morning! I head to the library w/ Owen and Cora, and I come back to tons of new things! Awesome!

Happy to do whatever you'd like to make connecting with members easier.  I have a busy afternoon with tutoring two students after I pick up Maddy from school, but I will certainly get to working out things over here by the evening's end.

Thanks for your patience--Thursdays are way busy for me.

I"m losing my mind. Please send me your addy asap, and I'll get it out on Monday.

sorry!
