Hi Jackie. Have you checked out K5 Learning? Its a subscription site. It's the best I've found. You can try it for free. You don't share a credit card number, and they don't hassle you by email or share your email after signing up for a free trial.

The cost for the program is $199 per year for first child and $129 for a second. You can choose to pay monthly too. Then it's $25 per month for first child and $15 for a second.

Reading Bear, Reading Teacher, and Reading Lessons are all free resources that include quizes and much more. I registered for all three and they are completely free and without ads. The developers of all three sites are generously giving these high quality programs for free. Reading Bear is backed by an anonymous donor and Reading Teacher and Reading Lessons are being shared by the developer of a successful teaching reading site who has sold is interest in the site and is choosing to share what he can for free.

If you'd like to know your daughter's reading level, Total Reader is a system that will give you a Lexile reading level. Total Reader works for children and adults reading at or above a third grade reading level.

If you choose to try out K5 Learning and have questions, let me know. I've used it with my children and know others who are using it. I have a good friend who is homeschooling her twin 9 year old boys. She loves K5 Learning. She had some questions and was able to talk to the owner of the site on the phone. The site gives parents many ways to control which lessons will be used, or parents can let the program select lessons based on assessments and progress.
